Finally, days are getting longer and warmer. So it’s official: Spring has returned! And therewith the new sailing season is starting up, too. Now is the perfect time to enjoy the open waters. To have great sailing trips again, be that in Dutch waters or beyond. Set sail and let your boat shine out there, basking in spring’s first warm sun!

Good maintenance: essential for a fine sailing season without worries
With the start of the new sailing season it is especially important to take the time for some maintenance on your yacht. Long winter storage often brings some material wear and tear to your yacht. Good systematic startup maintenance in spring, right before the new sailing season, will bring back your yacht in top condition. And it will enable you to sail safely during the entire season. Checking the engine is a good start. So is a check of the sealings and a thorough cleaning of the yacht. As well as a careful inspection of the mast, the stays and the rigging. Is the mast well trimmed and secured?
Invest the time for those works at the beginning of the season, and you’ll optimise your chances for a great sailing time out there. Free of worries.
