Our smallest Super Yacht, the C-Yacht 1050
The C-Yacht 1050 is the smallest member of the successful C-Yacht
family. This member may be the smallest C-Yacht of the family but
it is certainly not inferior to her big sisters. The C-Yacht 1050
is the refreshing successor to the C-Yacht 10.40, brought completely
up to date and right on time. More than this:
The C-Yacht is a beautiful boat suitable for all waters and
all types of sailors.
The design of the C-Yacht 1250i is unique for various reasons. The ballast ratio, however, is truly pioneering
Interior
Top features: comfort and spaciousness
The C-Yacht 1050 makes her appearance as the smallest Center Cockpit and is a first in today’s market. And that gives the real advantage. That the 1050 is a practical Center Cockpit, not only easily handled by a two-person crew, but with important extra space inside. The aft cabin is generous and the saloon and galley provide lots more storage space and are separate from each other. The refreshing interior and clever layout of the 1050 is ideal for short weekend trips as well as longer periods on board. With two large cabins, a spacious toilet with shower and a comfortable saloon there is plenty of room on board for two couples. The 1050 is not a real Super Yacht for nothing.
The C-Yacht 1050 is not a
real Super Yacht for nothing.

Sailing
Revolutionary ballast
The design of the 1050 is unique in several ways, but the ballast ratio is totally revolutionary. The ballast in the C-Yacht 1050 makes up more than 40% of the total boat and, moreover, is placed low and centrally. The tanks and batteries are positioned in the boat so that the 1050 is easy and pleasant to sail in all weather conditions. The 40% ballast ratio is a feature of all C-Yachts and means that C-Yacht is an absolute trendsetter in the market.
No glue, no screws
Both below and above water the hull is built using a sandwich construction that makes the 1050 very rigid and light. The vinylester resin used in construction of the C-Yacht 1050 hull means that, not only is osmosis prevented, it is also a lot stronger than old-fashioned polyester. The hull-deck joint is unique. After the hull and deck are taken from the mould, they are joined together by laminating. No glue and screws. The homogeneous joint gives direct benefits in sailing: The C-Yacht 1050 is extremely rigid and this makes it a very forgiving boat to sail.
Up to date craftsmanship
Moreover, the youngest C-Yacht carries the unmistakable stamp of the Zaadnoordijk Yachtbuilders yard. The heart of the 1050 draws on nearly seventy years of expertise and that stands out very clearly. Use of high quality materials such as teak and vinylester and vacuum construction techniques for the highest standard in her class.
Top designer Frans Maas
Top designer Frans Maas is responsible for the design of the 1050. His instructions were both simple and difficult. Design a fast boat with real sporty sailing performance that is also safe, comfortable and, above all, easily handled by the crew. And, of course, the new 1050 must have an impressive appearance
These requests were not too much to ask of Frans Maas. He has delivered a design that is characterised by a deep-V fore-section and a moderate after-section at the stern. The keel and the rudder are designed so that the boat handles easily in all conditions. But these stability factors do not detract from the sailing performance of the C-Yacht 1050.
‘The greater than 40% ballast, placed so low, is unique in her class’
