Fixed windscreen for perfect protection

The C-Yacht 1250i Centre Cockpit is equipped as standard with a fixed windscreen, offering outstanding protection inside the cockpit, in all conditions. Optionally it can be complemented with a sprayhood and cockpit canopy, all easily removable as soon as the weather improves again.

The Cockpit

All halyards and trimming lines are led to the cockpit, below the fixed screen. A special construction detail ensures no water can get into the cockpit in this area. After sailing, lines can easily be stored in dedicated, self draining line compartments.

Both sides of the cockpit contain a fold-out back rest, perfect for sitting, protected from wind and waves. The sliding washboard can easily be opened and closed and self stow in the cockpit floor. If open, they’ll close automatically, should the yacht ever capsize. Above thhe companionway is space for instruments, speakers or 12V sockets.

Safe construction

The 1250i is built in vinyl ester resin. This material provides a stronger rigidity and major tightness
against water and vapour. Together with NPG gel coat it constitutes the most efficient protection against
osmosis. Rigidity of the hull is additionally reinforced by the combination of the inner with the outer
shell. This is realised by involving the bulkheads and parts of the interior; the inner shell here is
completely laminated to the hull and the bulkheads. Result is an increased suspension stability of both
the water and Diesel tanks, as well as a notably stronger rigidity of the hull. Also, the inner side of
the hull is finished with top coat for additional protection.

As standard, the ship is delivered with white gel coat.

Our newest creation, the 1250i, is currently being tested by various nautical media. Europe’s biggest boating magazine YACHT chose a different approach: An offshore cruise …with lots of wind. And you bet she passed with flying colours! Out at the North Sea, with waves 3 metres high we had 2 ships, 2 editors, 2 photographers, 12.6 measured knots and a 1250i which felt and performed just fine. For now enjoy some impressive pictures taken out there…
